My background is in the culinary arts where I spent the past 10+ years working in various kitchens across the US & Europe. After so many years, I wanted make a change and decided to pursue graphic design & photography. While studying both, I discovered that I was drawn to the aspects of working with code and the web and switched my focus to web development.
I strive to create websites that provide the user with a fluid experience across all platforms. I make my code as simple and efficient as possible. In this ever changing time of technology, it's important to stay up to date in the developer environment.
I focus on creating striking images with a well balanced composition. My main concentration is in product and portrait photography which I use controlled lighting. Understanding how to work and manipulate light has opened up a whole world of unique opportunities.
I have adapted a minimalist style that I implement in my designs. Using the right visual elements helps reinforce a message that you want to convey. Having an eye for design has helped immensely in both web development and photography.
