My background is in the culinary arts where I spent 10+ years working in various kitchens across the U.S. & Europe. After so many years, I wanted make a change and decided to pursue graphic design & photography. While studying both, I discovered that I was drawn to the aspects of working with code and the web and switched my focus to web development.
Collaboration and working with different teams has been such a joy. Being able to bounce ideas off each other to create the best version of a project is important to me. I’ve learned so much over the years as a freelancer and working in-house.
I strive to create websites that provide the user with a fluid experience across all platforms. I make my code as simple and efficient as possible. In this ever changing time of technology, it's important to stay up to date in the developer environment.
I focus on creating striking images with a well-balanced composition. My main concentration is in product and portrait photography, but I am used to a fast-paced environment and am comfortable working at any type of event.
I have adopted a minimalist style that I implement in my designs. Using the right visual elements reinforces a message that you want to convey. Having an eye for design has helped immensely in every aspect of my professional career.
I’ve worked with many email platforms and have learned how to create campaign drips, automations, A/B testing, and single campaigns with segmentations. My experience with design and web development has given me the tools to design new looks and work with old-school email code. I’ve also worked in customer relations with users who had issues and was able to provide them with tech support.
I’ve worked on sets for events, live streams, and filmed specifically for TV. I am comfortable leading and communicating with a team to bring a project to life. I have expertise with lighting, sound, and camera equipment, and my experience with photography has helped me transition to video.
Knowing how to tell a cohesive story and keep the viewer's attention are essential elements for video editing. Timing, color correction, and technical proficiency are also key.
