Snowshoe & Cross Country Skiing

33 KM of tracked and flat groomed trails circle the mountain along the scenic Brule River. The wooded and rolling terrain of the Brule River Valley makes our trails a favorite among winter sports enthusiasts. The trail system is laid out in a series of loops, creating many options of shorter treks or longer. The trail system offers a variety of difficulty and something for everyone. Cross country trail pass is $10 and snowshoe trail pass is $5 or included in your daily facilities pass (downhill or snowboard lift ticket), so pack your additional gear or rent at Ski Brule.

Fat Biking

The fastest growing winter sport, fat tire biking, is available at Ski Brule. 30 Km if fat tire bike trails look around the base of Brule Mountain. A fat tire bike pass is $15 or included in your daily facilities pass (alpine or snowboard lift ticket). Half day fat tire bike rental ($30) or full day ($50) bike rental includes the trail pass.Another great way to enjoy the snow at Ski Brule! Helmets are mandatory and fat tire bikes are not permitted on alpine/snowboard trails.

Fun for the whole family

If you like to sled, you’ll love the snow tubing park at Ski Brule! Tubing is one winter attraction you don’t want to miss! Snow tubing is a fun winter recreation suitable for all ages and has become a favorite alternative winter activity for a lot of people and particularly families. Just imagine, hopping on a tube, then flying down an exciting incline to the bottom of the snow tubing park, and then doing it all over again! Ski Brule offers two types of snow tubing, Whitewater Snow Tubing Park and Homestead Snow Tubing park.

Whitewater Snow Tubing Park

The Whitewater Snow Tubing Park is located between the Otterslide Trail and Whitwater Trail. Participants are towed on a tube (tubes are provided) to the top of the snow tubing park, then race to the bottom and do it all over again! Whitewater Snow tubing park passes are $5 for 5 runs.

Homestead Tubing is located at the mid mountain Homestead Lodge. Snowmobiling

The trail system of the entire Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin lead to Ski Brule.

There is no better place to ride than the 3,000 miles found in the Upper Peninsula. Michigan is known by snowmobilers nationwide for its unique combination of abundant and dependable snow, exciting terrain and extensive trail networks. Direct access to the trail system of the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin is accessible from Ski Brule. The groomed trails wind through the forests offering scenic overlooks, railroad grades, bridges, hills, lakes, cedar swamps and logging roads. Ample trailer parking is available at Ski Brule with onsite dining, saloon and the array of activities for families. You can ride for several days and not see the same scenery two times in the same day.

The Iron County Trail system is well known for its wide open trails and groomed scenic journeys through the woods. Ski Brule’s luxury chalets offer ample parking, onsite saloon, dining, activities and hot tubs to soothe away the day’s ride and make Ski Brule ideal for your snowmobile adventures!
