The Rental Center has it all, including downhill and cross-country skis and boots, snowboards, snowboard boots, helmets, snow skates, fat tire bikes and snowshoes! The Rental Center staff is helpful, ready with answers and committed to making your day at Ski Brule enjoyable. The Ski Brule team will also make sure you receive properly fitting equipment so you enjoy your day skiing on the best ski slopes in Michigan.

Downhill Ski

Ski Brule’s shaped skis, ski boots and poles make skiing easier at an affordable price. The large equipment inventory of all Midwest Ski Resort includes ski boots from size children’s 7 to adult 16, skis from size 70-180.

Snowboard

A large selection of snowboard models are available at Ski Brule with Midwest Ski Resort Ski Rental Equipment & Snowboard Rental Equipmentsnowboards ranging in sizes from size 80 to 163, including wide boards (for large size boots). Snowboard boot sizes range from children’s size 3 to adult size 15. Not sure if your stance is goofy foot or regular foot? The snowboard techs at the Ski Brule Rental Center will help you figure that out too!

Cross Country Ski

Of all the places to ski in Michigan, Cross Country skiing in the Upper Peninsula forests is the most relaxing way to spend your morning, day or afternoon at Ski Brule. Nowhere else offers a more complete Cross Country experience. Cross Country boots are available from adult size 5 to adult size 12. Skis and poles complete the package.

Fat Tire Bike

Fat tire biking is the fastest growing winter sport. Try a fat tire bike for half a day or a full day. Fat tire bike rentals are available at the Rental Center at Ski Brule. Fat tire bike trail pass is $15 and included in your daily lift ticket so bring your fat tire bike with on your next ski or snowboard trip to Ski Brule.

Snow Skate

Sometimes referred to as ‘mini skis’, snow skates are an easy and fun way to spend your day at Ski Brule enjoying the best skiing in the Midwest.

Snowshoe

A scenic snowshoe trek through the wooded and rolling terrain at Ski Brule is a favorite way of many to spend time at our Michigan ski resort. All you need to do is bring your winter boots. Don’t have winter boots? Rent a pair of snowboard boots and you’ll be on your way.

Brule Café

Open daily at 8:00 a.m. (located at Brule Lodge) serving made to order breakfast will have you fueled up and on the Michigan ski slopes in no time. Serving throughout the day, menu options include grill sandwiches, sub sandwiches, salad bar, fruit, pizza, chili, homemade soups, sweets, snacks, fries, cheese curds and an Upper Peninsula favorite, the Pasty.

Hillside Evening Dining

Looking for a great dining experience? Look no further then the Hillside Dining room at the Brule Saloon, serving nightly 5:00 P.M. Menu options range from tangy appetizers, zesty soups, salad and pizza to Italian. Hillside evening delivery service to Brule Village lodging is also available 5-8pm.

Brule Saloon

Open daily, the Brule Saloon serves a selection of hot and cold beverages with the best views of the slopes. The Brule Saloon’s family friendly evening entertainment is a fun way to end the day at Ski Brule. Late night munchies are also available at Brule Saloon.

Homestead Lodge

The mid mountain Homestead Lodge is a unique stop to grab a bite to eat, relax and warm up. Built in the 1800’s and decorated with antiques, the Homestead Lodge at Ski Brule is a ‘must visit’ on your Michigan vacation. Homestead Lodge is accessible during the skiing day 9-3:45 from Homestead Trail and North Forty Trails.

The scent of outdoor grilling fills the air that surrounds the Homestead Lodge, where grilled sandwiches, soup, chili, snacks, hot and cold beverage and sweets are served. Restrooms are also available at the mid mountain Homestead Lodge. The lodge also features an all you can eat barbecue dinner on Thursday and Saturday nights from 5:00-8:00 pm that can’t be missed!

Kid's Center

SKIWEE

The Kid’s Center at Ski Brule is the best way to start your child skiing. The Kid’s Center introduces skiing through fun and games with the emphasis on FUN! The fundamentals of skiing are taught on Gentle Ben, the Kid’s Center ‘no big people allowed’ starter area. Your child will learn about equipment, walking sliding, rope tow, stopping, carrying their gear and getting up wthen they fall. By the end of the session, you will likely have a skier ready for the Bunny Trail.

SKIwee includes more than just learning to ski. With one quick glance on Gentle Ben you will see children sliding down the slides, in the Moonbounce, playing with Tim & Jerry (the Kid’s Center birds), playing skiing games or wiping away a hot chocolate mustache. Offered daily (minimum 24 hour advanced reservations Monday-Friday, early & late season for SKIWee and Childcare) at the Kid’s Center (adjacent the Rental Center at Ski Brule), SKIwee offers three and six hours of fun on and off the slopes with midday lunch options.

Childcare

Are your kids not quite old enough to hit the Michigan ski slopes yet? No problem! Ski Brule offers childcare daily at the Kid’s Center for children ages 1 and up. You can book morning, afternoon and full day sessions for your children while you enjoy the Michigan Ski Resort!

The childcare sessions are filled with both indoor and outdoor activities that will have your child planning your next Michigan ski vacation to Ski Brule before your trip has even ended! Snacks are provided (juice and graham crackers) during a session and lunch is available 12-1:00 (hot dog, chips & juice). Children are welcome to bring additional beverages and snacks.
